Man, I just don’t care that he died. I mean, it sucks and all, but only insofar as he was a person who died and it sucks when people die. I don’t care about his past or his music, and I personally didn’t know the guy, so I’m not going to mourn just because he was a celebrity and the media tells me to. Hate mail welcome, I still love you just the same. Huggles to all.

I thought I was going to be way more offended than I was. I’ve seen the episode of South Park, I laughed when I saw it. Everyone has to laugh at themselves once in a while. I don’t live in a bubble where Michael is still black with a bulbous nose, but I do respect what the man has brought to the table.
I don’t hate you
I respect it, too. “Dangerous” was an awesome album, and he was excellent joke fodder in the mid-nineties and earlier this past decade. It really does suck that he died, but why does he deserve any more respect or special attention than Farrah Fawcett?
